Ikusa always prefers to work with her fists before using any other types of powers that she may hid up her sleeve. She's blunt and negative, but she enjoys taking her frustrations out on the criminals of Paragon. Though she doesn't know how or why, she captured the interest of KamiKaze and Renegade Saber. The young heroes found Ikusa's strength, attitude, and experience qualities they admire. They both follow Ikusa around (whether she likes it or not) and learn from her as subtly as they can.

Ikusa doesn't seem to enjoy their attention, but she doesn't complain about it either..too much. And after a bit of time, she even begins to look forward to their missions together. Ikusa doesn't allow herself to reach out often, but when she does, she tends to hold on for as long as possible.

KamiKaze is a young Aeris (wind mage). She serves Kaze-sama devoutly and never doubts her faith. She is extremely inexperienced, but she is equally eager to learn. Her talents are raw, and most battles she wins by sheer chance. This changes after she meets a young group of heroes and an experienced loner.

KamiKaze teams up with Blockaid, Okibi, Air Bourne, and Renegade Saber a lot, and each one teaches the others a bit about the life style and themselves. She develops a strong bond with each of them over time through one-on-one experiences. And sometimes, it seems that KK is the only one making an effort to keep the team together.

KamiKaze is advised to stay away from Ikusa; advice that she ignores. Ikusa's years of experience help KamiKaze to learn control and discipline.

Name: Lacey McFallen

Shi Devil is a mysterious hero that claims to hail from Ireland. Her fighting style is that of a ninja, but when riled her famous Irish temper makes her quite devilish. She is extremely agile and fast, and her air of confidence catches Air Bourne's attention. Though Shi Devil never wanted a fan or admirer, she gained one unwittingly just by being herself.

Though the two never go on missions together, Shi Devil does impart some of her wisdom on to the young girl. She admires Air Bourne's spunk and determination, and has promised that the two will go on missions together when Air Bourne has gained strength.

Though you'd never know by her attitude, Air Bourne is really an insecure young woman using some serious attitude to cope with real life. She dislikes her real life so much, she tends to enjoy herself more when she's suited up. She wants to be independent and uncaring of other people's opinions, and as Air Bourne she can. However, Ariel is far too insecure to try such boldness. Luckily, she makes friends easily and enjoys talking with other heroes. She idolizes Shi Devil, and takes everything the woman says to heart.

Air Bourne knows KamiKaze, Okibi, and Blockaid from her training as an Aeris (air mage). She also knows Renegade Saber through their connections to the Guild of the Blessed Isle.

The most illusive of characters, Blade Babe is more of an anti hero. She claims to kill criminals because they're encroaching on her turf. She does save heroes from time to time...but she claims that's because heroes kill criminals...and therefore are good in her book. No one really knows much about her or whose side she's on...and she probably likes it that way.

Okibi was born with fire power. She's learned over the years to suppress it...now, she's learning to control it. She isn't very responsible, she doesn't think things through, and she can be very...hot headed.

Okibi has no problems using her powers against bad guys. In fact she uses fire to do just about everything, whether it be for offense or defense. She never has problems wining battles against adversaries. Her biggest problem is her over-protective twin brother, Kenneth.

Miss. Crystal Hebert is a teacher at Paragon High during the day. But, she becomes the coquettish Moonstruck by night...and ...any other time she has her costume around and thinks it's necessary. Able to control energy from childhood, Moonstruck has had plenty of time to practice the art of energy blasting and manipulation.

Moonstruck discovers Leila's secret identity and often helps her on missions. She has yet to reveal her identity to her favored student, but perhaps she's only waiting for the best time.

Leila Masters was just another nerd going to Paragon High...then the Rikti invaded, and her neighborhood was right in the middle of it. She doesn't remember everything that happened. She knows her parents were outside, while she was inside fooling around in her home-made chemistry lab. But upon the initial blast, she was knocked unconscious. Now her parents are gone, and she's got all these weird powers! At first she hated it. But now she's turned it into a chance of a lifetime. While she's Atomicia, she can take on any personality she wouldn't have the courage to try as plain old Leila.

Savarna is a natural fighter and works even better with ice elements. Upon moving to Paragon, she finds that one must fight to live as they wish. After taking up the alias Ronin Saber five times, she decides to make it permanent and continues patrolling.

She found out a little late that her daughter, Marleah, had taken on the alias Renegade Saber. Though Savarna didn't want her daughter exposed to the things she had seen, she also couldn't make the decision for her. The mother and daughter sometimes group up, but they prefer to work alone, because they're too much alike to get along for long.

Though she does respect Ikusa Nushi, she is a bit uneasy about her daughter's infatuation with the Warlord. However, she knows how headstrong her daughter can be, and doesn't try to dissuade her from making friends in what she considers low places.

Name: Marleah Ronin
Code Name: Renegade Saber

Renegade Saber took one part of her name from her mother. She got Renegade because...she just really liked the name. She's tough but really bright and comical. Her natural tenacity helps her in battles. She values her mother's experience but often gets tired of her overbearing presence.

By accident, she and KamiKaze found Ikusa Nushi. The two impressionable, young heroes immediately became obsessed with being like the hardened scrapper. Though Renegade has heard that relations with Ikusa can be bad news, she does really care. What does it matter what other people think anyway?

Blockaid is a tanker. She knows that she's the muscle, and she enjoys that. She enjoys taking and giving punishment so that her team mates don't have to. She knows she's not very smart, and she tries very hard to ignore it. It's one of her biggest Achilles' heels.

Her powers are stone and fire...with a huge emphasis on the stone part. She doesn't understand where the fire powers come from, but she doesn't question it. It's just another way to protect herself. Blockaid herself is a tough-as-nails girl. Larger than life in attitude and body, she always seems to limit herself by saying she's "the big stupid one."

Lethal Lady (a.k.a. Erika Driscol) has been a super hero for ages. She's actually made a business out of it. Her alias is known throughout the city, and her time is almost always spent in costume. This wouldn't be a problem...if it weren't for her daughter, Gilianna. Erika tries desperately to connect with Gilianna, but often feels inept. She is much more comfortable being shot at, than facing down her distant teenage daughter.

Erika realizes quite quickly that she's running out of time, when Lethal Lady encounters Gilianna and a group of friends as a super hero group. The problem is, she doesn't know if she should reveal herself and stop her daughter from her heroic ambition, or encourage her...

Gilianna Driscol has always been an influential young woman. No one could possibly tell when she started using her controlling powers, but it was probably early on, and without her being aware of it. Flirty, brash, and unconcerned with anything but her own life, Gilianna's only real obstacle is her terrible relationship with her mother. Gilianna doesn't know that her mother is actually the super hero Lethal Lady, and this creates a lot of uncomfortable silences and secrets within this small family.

Gilianna hates that people see her as nothing but a shallow bimbo, but she doesn't really know how to change that opinion...well, at least she doesn't know how to change it without using her powers and passing out from the effort. When she dons her costume and becomes Head Spinner, she's usually serious, self-sacrificing, and no-nonsense. Her friends think it's what she needs to balance the other side of her devil-may-care personality.
